Packing for Formal and Theme Nights
Aloha, cruisers! Justin here with some tips on what to pack for formal and theme nights on your Pride of America cruise. Formal nights(Pride of America has one then one all white night) are a great opportunity to dress up, so be sure to pack elegant outfits. Additionally, theme nights add fun and variety to your cruise experience, so pack accordingly. Here’s a checklist to help you prepare:
Formal Nights:
- Evening Gown, Ball Gown, Formal Dress, or Semi-Formal Dress: Choose outfits for each formal night scheduled.
- Tuxedo, Suit, or Dress Slacks with Dress Shirt & Tie: For gentlemen.
- Sportscoat/Jacket: Recommended for gentlemen.
- Dress Socks or Hosiery
- Dress Shoes
Theme Nights:
- Accessories or Outfits: Pack according to the theme nights scheduled for your sailing.
Cold Weather Trips:
- Hats, Gloves, Scarf: Keep warm with these cold-weather essentials.
- Warm Sweaters/Sweatshirts: Layer up for chilly evenings.
- Waterproof Boots: Stay dry on excursions or in rainy weather.
- Raincoat: Protect yourself from the elements.
- Long Underwear or Cuddle-duds: Stay warm underneath your clothes.
- Neck Gator: An alternative to a scarf for face and neck warmth.
- Handwarmers: Keep your hands warm in cold weather.
