Does the Pride of America sail by the Na Pali Coast anymore?

Question from John:

Does the Pride of America sail by the Na Pali Coast anymore?

Justin’s Answer:

Hey John! The Pride of America does not normally sail by the Na Pali Coast anymore. Here’s a statement from NCL:

“Our company is committed to driving a positive impact on society and the environment. As part of our global sustainability program, Sail & Sustain, we are continually seeking opportunities to reduce our overall carbon footprint, and recently committed to pursuing net zero greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain by 2050. To support this mission, we have revised Pride of America’s sailing from July 22, 2023, through and including September 30, 2023, to now include an extended call in Nawiliwili, Kaua’i.”

This change is part of their efforts to be more sustainable. While it’s a bit of a bummer, the extended time in Kaua’i gives you more opportunity to explore that beautiful island! Update: The Pride of America has sailed the coast a few select times so double check your itinerary before sailing.

If you still want to see the coast I would book a Helicopter Tour for Kauai, High rated options here and I personally took the Hughes 500 Doors Off found here and loved it!
