Don’t Forget Your Cruise Ship Clothing Basics
Aloha, cruisers! Justin here with some tips on packing the right clothing for your Pride of America cruise. Packing the right clothes ensures you’re comfortable and prepared for any activity onboard or during port visits. Here’s a checklist to help you pack smart:
- Underwear: Pack extra for your comfort.
- Bras/Undershirts: Bring what you need for your outfits.
- Socks: Don’t forget to pack socks.
- Pajamas: Bring comfortable sleepwear for a good night’s rest.
- Shapewear: Optional, if you want a smoother silhouette.
Casual Attire:
- Shirts: T-shirts, polos, tropical shirts, tank tops.
- Bottoms: Shorts, capris, jeans, or a sundress.
- Swimsuit: Essential for pool and beach days.
- Cover-up: To wear over your swimsuit.
- Rash Guard: Optional for sun protection.
- Workout Clothing: Optional if you plan to use the onboard fitness facilities.
- Sweater/Lightweight Sweatshirt: For cooler or windy days.
- Footwear: Flip flops, sandals, or sneakers for casual wear, hiking shoes for excursions, and water shoes for beach days.
Note: For colder climates or cool evenings, bring layers, including sweaters or jackets.
Dining Room Attire for Evening:
- Dress Shirt/Polo/Blouse: For formal or semi-formal dinners.
- Dress Slacks/Dress Shorts/Skirt: No jeans in the dining room.
- Sundress/Maxi Dress/Business Casual: Suitable for evening dining.
- Stockings or Dress Socks: For formal nights or cooler evenings.
- Shawl/Sweater/Suit Coat: To stay warm on chilly nights.
- Dressy Sandals or Dress Shoes: No flip flops or sneakers in the dining room.
- Tie and Suit Coat: Optional for formal nights.
