Pack Smart for Cruise Tours and Excursions

Aloha, cruisers! Justin here, with tips on packing smartly for your cruise tours and excursions. When your ship docks and you’re ready to explore, having the right items with you can enhance your onshore experience. Here’s what you need:

  • Swimsuit and Towel/Coverup: For water activities or beach visits.
  • Sun Hat/Sunscreen: Protect yourself from the sun.
  • Tickets for Excursions: Don’t forget your tickets for planned activities.
  • Appropriate Footwear: Comfortable and sturdy shoes for walking on various terrains.
  • Cash for Tipping: Have local currency for tipping and small purchases.
  • Credit Card: For shopping or any incidentals.
  • Selfie Stick/Phone/Camera: Capture your memories.
  • Snorkel Gear/Water Shoes: If your day includes water activities.
  • Small First Aid Kit: Bandaids, Tylenol, etc., for minor emergencies.
  • Umbrella or Rain Poncho: Be prepared for unexpected rain.
  • Emergency Numbers: For the cruise ship and US consulate, just in case.
  • Wet Bag: To carry wet items back to the ship.
  • Locking Travel Bag: Keep your valuables secure.
