Secure All the Documentation You Need for the Cruise
Aloha, travelers! Justin here, ready to help you get all your documentation in order for your Pride of America cruise. Addressing these logistical details in advance means you can avoid last-minute hassles and focus on enjoying your cruise. Here’s a checklist to make sure you’ve got everything covered:
- Identification: A passport is recommended, but if you’re on a closed-loop cruise (US port to US port), check with the cruise line; you might be able to use a driver’s license and birth certificate.
- Print Cruise Boarding Passes: Have these ready and accessible.
- Print Flight Boarding Passes: If applicable, print these out before you head to the airport.
- Print Hotel Reservations/Receipts: Make sure to have copies of your pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel reservations.
- Print Travel Protection Policy: Keep a printed copy of your travel insurance policy with you.
- Credit Card List: Make a list of your credit card numbers and hide it in your luggage in case your wallet gets lost.
- Copy of ID and Passport: Make copies of your ID and passport and keep them safely hidden in your belongings for emergencies.
- Vehicle Insurance: Print a copy of your vehicle insurance declaration page if you plan to rent a car and want to waive the rental insurance coverage.
- Bring Credit Cards or Bank Cards: Make sure to pack these for your trip.
- Bring Cash: Including small bills for tipping.
- Bring Your House Keys: Don’t forget to take your house keys with you.
By securing all the necessary documents ahead of time, you’ll ensure a smooth and organized start to your cruise vacation. Pre-planning is the key to a stress-free and memorable journey. Mahalo, and enjoy your cruise!
